how to curry rice with vegetables


  • 1 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1 tsp. ground garlic
  • 1 tsp. ground coriander
  • 1 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1 tsp. ground tumeric
  • 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp. ground chilli or 1 medium hot pepper grind
  • 1/2 tsp. ground clove
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cinnimon
  • 2 tsp. paprika
  • 3/4 pts. basmatti rice  and 2 tablespoon oil
  • 2 carrots thinly sliced
  • 1 large green bell pepper. Cut crossway then into small strips
  • 1 large red bell pepper done as green bell pepper
  • 4 heads scallion/scallot slice into 1 inch pieces


Boil rice just a little harder than normal. Strain and wash with cold water, and allow to drain for 15 minutes then refrigerate.

Combine all other ingredients except oil and veggies. Heat oil in a wok, add mixture and let simer for 2 minutes

Add rice a little at a time while tosting. When all of the rice has been added, continue to stir fry for 3-5 minutes or until rice is hot

Remove from fire, add vegatables and stir into rice.

serve alone or with any meat
